libflann1.9 software package provides Fast Library for Approximate Nearest Neighbors - runtime, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libflann1.9
libflann1.9 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libflann1.9 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libflann1.9 *
You will get with libflann1.9 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
